REC received $2M+ investment to bring their unique creative membership + agency model to cities around the country. They needed a website as unique and standout as their talent and growth trajectory when they announced it to the world.

We took REC’s static rebrand assets and their unique value proposition and translated them into messaging and a website that showed off their memberships’ talents and showcased the work they’d done with Fortune 100 brands.
REC was in a rough spot. They’d hired an agency to rebuild their site in time for a massive press push around their first round of investment. We’re talking a press embargo and interviews in Forbes, Inc, and Fast Company!
But the site the agency gave them didn’t work. And rounds of revisions couldn’t make the dream come alive.
After delaying their launch by 5 months in the hopes the site would materialize they couldn’t delay it any further.
They needed a site that stuck in the public’s mind. And they needed it copywritten, designed, and built in a month.
That’s when we were brought in, capes clipped on.
Even though the timeline was tight, our process remained much the same.
1. Spoke with REC’s team to understand their needs, goals, and vision for the site’s functionality
2. Looked at the membership data, recordings of members, and feedback from brands they’d worked with to best understand the reasons people came to REC (either for membership), answering objections, and clearly communicating the benefits and value of working with them and joining the community
3. Laid out the copy for each page to show the flow between sections and the data-driven purpose of each line
4. Planned out the design to wow aesthetically and up its conversion power
5. Built the site in Webflow in time to test the animations and interactions before it went live
6. Added in their marketing tech stack so that they could collect emails and trigger emails with their current workflow
7. QA’d the crap out of it to make sure every link and CTA did its job
